Abstract

Moringa Adans. - unico genere della famiglia Moringaceae - è rappresentato da una trentina di taxa specifici ed intraspecifici fra cui M. oleifera Lam. originiaria dlele regioni pedemontane della catena himalayana del Uttar Pradesh ed oggi ampiamente distribuita nei tropici dove si è spontaneizzata (Fashey, 2005).
