LA TAGLIA INFLUENZA LA SPECIALIZZAZIONE, MA NON L'AMPIEZZA , DELLA NICCHIA TROFICA NELLE VESPE SCAVATRICI
Abstract
Una regola generale riscontrata nelle popolazioni di vespe scavatrici (Hymenoptera: Crabonidae) è la correlazione positiva tra la taglia del predatore e quella della preda; ciò suggerisce un possibile vantaggio per le femmine di maggiori dimensioni, che, potendo trasportare anche prede grandi, possono accedere ad un più ampio spettro di specie di prede rispetto alle femmine più piccole.Downloads
