Abstract

The authors carry out a review of papers and unpublished studies over a period of about thirty years, about flora and vegetation with regards to both vascular plants, both cryptogams of Agoraie Managed Strict Nature Reserve (Liguria, NW Italy) and its neighboring. This protected area, although with a small surface, is of considerable phytogeographical importance for the presence of rare species and at the limit of their distribution. There is a clear need that studies be continued with greater regularity in order to allow a more accurate assessment of the environmental dynamics.
