Abstract

Gli organismi Rickettsia-simili (Rickettsia-like Organisms, RLOs) costituiscono  un gruppo di procarioti endoparassiti filogeneticamente affini alla Fam. Rickettsiaceae (Alphaproteobacteria): esso comprende agenti eziologici di zoonosi (di invertebrati, pesci, vertebrati terrestri) e patogeni umani (tifo).
