Abstract

Analisi di genetica Mendeliana applicate alla trasmissione ereditaria dei sistemi multipli di mating type tipici dei ciliati ipotrichi, Euplotes in particolare, implicano inequivocabilmente che i segnali (feromoni) che distinguono chimicamente le cellule di diverso mating type sono determinati dallo stesso locus genico che controlla anche i recettori di questi feromoni.
