Resumen

Vi è ormai un ampio consenso sul fatto che il clima del pianeta viva un periodo di forte cambiamento climatico. In risposta le specie vegetali nei prossimi decenni potranno adattarsi alle nuove condizioni modificando la loro fenologia e fisiologia, migrare verso zone climatiche più favorevoli, oppure estinguersi (Davis & Shaw 2001).
