Abstract

Malgrado la loro ampia distribuzione e grande capacità di dispersione, le popolazioni dei cetacei sono spesso strutturate a livello regionale e talvolta sub-regionale, in risposta alla presenza di barriere geografiche e a variazioni oceanografiche e clilmatiche.
