Abstract

The scientific heritage of the gardener and botanist Alwin Berger is outlined. Berger made substantial contributions to the taxonomy and horticulture of succulent plants, published in numerous papers, jounal articles, books, and book contributions. A comprehensive bibliography of Alwin Berger is presented here for the first time.
