Author Biographies

Susanna Pozzolo, Università degli Studi di Brescia

Degree in Law by Genoa University; PhD in Analytical philosophy and general theory of law by Milan University; she is researcher at Brescia University. Her main research interests are divisible on three large themes: ‘interpretation of law ’, ‘liberalism and autonomy’,  ‘equality, poverty and gender’.

Isabel Fanlo Cortés, Università degli Studi di Genova

Cortés is researcher in Philosophy and Sociology of Law at the University of Genoa, where she teaches Sociology of Law and General Sociology. In 2003 she got a PhD degree in “Human Rights” from the University of Palermo, and in 2005 a PostPhD degree in Legal and Political philosophy from the University of Naples, “CRIE” (Centro di Ricerca sulle Istituzioni Europee”). She has been visiting researcher at the “University College” in Oxford, at the “Newnham College” in Cambridge, at the University “Pompeu Fabra” in Barcelona and twice at the “Universidad Autonoma” of Madrid. Her main fields of research include: human rights, with particular regard to children rights, immigration and social control policies, feminist legal theories.
