Sociologist and researcher, she teaches Sociology of Labour at Genoa’s University, Italy. Her main fields are labour market and migration from a gender perspective, and migrant sex work and trafficking. On these topics she’s been working in different projects, National and European ones, and publishing books and papers.

PhD in Sociology, is senior lecturer in Sociology at DISFOR, University of Genoa (Italy). Her research topics are gender, the body and food. She is co-director of AG-About gender and co-founder of the Laboratory of Visual Sociology in Genoa
