Abstract

This paper focuses on the relevance of religion in Mary Wollstonecraft’s educational writings, showing the strict link between religion, education and virtue in the author’s thought. Finally, some analogies will be presented between Mary Wollstonecraft and one of her interpreters, Sarah Moore Grimké.
