Isabel Fanlo Cortés, Dipartimento di Scienze giuridiche, Università di Genova

Isabel Fanlo Cortés is associate professor in Sociology of Law at the University of Genoa, where she teaches Sociology of Law, Law and Gender, Theories of Justice. In 2003 she got a PhD degree in “Human Rights” from the University of Palermo, and in 2005 a PostPhD degree in Legal and Political philosophy from the University of Naples, “CRIE” (Centro di Ricerca sulle Istituzioni Europee”). She has been visiting researcher at the “University College” in Oxford, at the “Newnham College” in Cambridge, at the University “Pompeu Fabra” in Barcelona and twice at the “Universidad Autonoma” of Madrid. Her main fields of research include: human rights, with particular regard to children rights, feminist legal theories, immigration and social control policies.
