Carriera Alias: la tutela di studentɜ con incongruenza di genere nella scuola secondaria di secondo grado

Abstract

This work deals with the author’s experience in a high school and the path to the activation of the Alias ​​Identity, an agreement allowing students to be recognized in a different gender than the one assigned at birth. It addresses issues related to self-perception, identity, sexual orientation among adolescents and the anthropological change we are experiencing, which needs to be addressed with openness rather than prejudice. Its goal is to promote the understanding of differences as a resource rather than an obstacle. The author presents the reasons behind its activation and possible strategies for school inclusion of gender incongruent students. The evolution of the legislative process which led to its activation in schools is also analyzed. The work addresses the public debate regarding the Alias ​​Identity, with oppositions caught between educational freedom and ideological colonization.
