Comment devenir scénariste de bande dessinée en Afrique, exemple du parcours de Christophe Ngalle Edimo

Abstract

Christophe Ngalle Edimo, a contemporary author, relates his experience as scriptwriter of comics, on the background of the history of the genre in Cameroun, as well as the particularities of Central and Western Africa comics. His production covers different themes, in particular social problems, between France and Africa, such as immigration, return to Africa, prostitution, medical issues, the life of immigrants in France. This contribution also evoques his relationship with different drawers, and the importance of the elements of narration, point of view, message, language level, framing and decoupage in the album production.
