Abstract

Inspired by his reading of other comics and his own creativity, Tanguy Dohollau has been narrating stories in comic-strips since 1949 and the end of censorship, from 1980 and the “comics revolution” his work taking on a new psychological and poetic dimension.
His “graphic novel”, recently published Pas à pas. À l’écoute du silence fits in with this creative trend. Dohollau explains his multidisciplinary sources, his working method, his narrative composition and his pictorial technique.
