La polyphonie des discours institutionnels : le cas de la concession argumentative

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the argumentative concession through a polyphonic analysis of the European Commission’s discourses on employment and the fight against discrimination. In particular, we will observe, from the Scandinavian theory of linguistic polyphony's point of view, the cases where enunciative instances involved into the polyphonic passages are or not responsible for the points of view introduced by the concessive structure.
