Fifty years after the events of 1968 in Mexico, a retrospective analysis of some of the novels and books produced since that year allows to study how the construction of a collective memory around them took place and how this construction triggered processes that contributed to the formation of contemporary Mexican society, also through the celebration of the anniversaries and the construction of public monuments and memorials.
