Abstract

When we think about to May 68 and literature, there are several ways to approach the question. We can indeed submit to a thematic approach, take stock of the texts that showcase these days, or rather these years, because May 68 spills over from the month of May and extends over what we now call "the 68 years ”. It is then only a question of considering the literary representation of a historical event. We can, of course, deal first with the political aspect: how does literature look at these events, how does it put them into perspective, how does it judge them? But we can also reflect on what changes in literature as a result of this event: the question then becomes more formal. Did May 68, which shook up many aspects of society and culture, notably sparked the emergence of new graphic aesthetics thanks to the activism of the Fine Arts and their famous posters, also established to renew literary aesthetics? Have we seen new ways of writing appear? have we built a new relationship with literature?
