Abstract

La “Milano nera” di Scerbanenco e Bacilieri. Dalla lingua del romanzo al linguaggio del fumetto deals with the representation of Milano in the comic adaptation that Paolo Bacilieri made of the novel Venere privata by Scerbanenco (1966). The comic adaptation was originally published in “Linus”, a comics magazine, than in a book by Oblomov in 2022. The representation of the city in the adaptation reveals a particular interpretation of the novel and suggests a different end to the story. It is a temporary happy end which pacifies the conflict between the characters, the historical events and the cultural and architectonic transformation of the town at the time.
