Marie NDiaye : de l’écriture migrante à une écriture de la migration

Résumé

In the third story of Trois femmes puissantes Marie NDiaye, a French writer with Senegalese’s origins, portrays a young woman migrant, who is the first African female character in her literary work. Which procedures does the author adopt to tell a story which remains so remote from her own life experience? In this paper I will analyze the narrative from three different perspectives: the identity issues of the protagonist, the space matter, the narrative, thematic and stylistic fluctuation between realism and the uncanny.
