Abstract

The digital revolution has changed the essential parameters of the relationship between man and nature. The material and the virtual have become compatible and functional, the distances are contracted, the speed has become invasive. With the abolition of the time, derived from the emergence of technology, the literary space is in constant transformation. On the one side, emerging new forms of complex creativity - the electronic literature in its different variants - which take up the challenge of historical incompatibility between artistic practices and hard sciences. On the other side, new instruments to know the artistic phenomenon reveal potential applications that will make digital humanities as strategic resource to renew the role and the function of literary criticism.
