Since 2004, the journal Publifarum has been a publication space for research in linguistics, literature and culture in a multilingual context, which has now acquired international prominence.

The journal is published by researchers at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures of the University of Genoa.

The published issues can be the result either of scientific projects developed within the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures or of external projects that we have deemed interesting for the development of knowledge in the humanities.

Publifarum is an open access journal: we firmly believe in the diffusion and sharing of research results as means to increase  collective growth.

Publifarum is recognised by ANVUR for the purposes of the National Scientific Qualification for Area 10.

Publifarum adopts the evaluation process criteria specified by the international scientific community: either double blind peer review or review by the editorial board, depending on the projects.

The Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board are composed of the members of the journal's founding committee and also of nationally and internationally recognised researchers who share this adventure with us.

Every issue is coordinated by scientific  editors and by a committee of experts, whose mission is to ensure the scientific rigour of the publication.
