About the Journal
Since 2004, Publifarum has been a publication space for research in language, literature and culture in a multilingual context. The magazine is published by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures of the University of Genoa.
The published issues may be the result of scientific projects developed within the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures or of external projects considered interesting for the development of knowledge of the humanities.
Current Issue
The volume brings together contributions presented at the Departmental Seminar "Thinking the Anthropocene," led by Elisa Bricco, which took place between 2022 and 2023 at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures of the University of Genoa. Scholars from Italy and abroad participated, working in fields such as linguistics, literature, sociology, and artistic practice. In the collected works, they address various issues related to the Anthropocene from multidisciplinary and highly complementary perspectives.

Publifarum is an open access journal: we firmly believe in the diffusion and sharing of research results as means to increase collective growth.
Publifarum is recognised by ANVUR for the purposes of the National Scientific Qualification for Area 10.
Publifarum adopts the evaluation process criteria specified by the international scientific community: either double blind peer review or review by the editorial board, depending on the projects.
The Scientific Committee and the Editorial Board are composed of the members of the journal's founding committee and also of nationally and internationally recognised researchers who share this adventure with us.
Every issue is coordinated by scientific editors and by a committee of experts, whose mission is to ensure the scientific rigour of the publication.
